Although this is a very specific and well-defined category, giving corporate advice to individuals and companies, for me it falls very heavily on the experience built up in the lending business and the venture capital industry. To be able to give good corporate advice is a combination of understanding the regulations and what can and cannot be done, but also having experience over a range of companies over the decades in business.

Corporate advice is a most satisfying occupation allowing you to meet many interesting people running many interesting companies or segments of companies. No one has the monopoly on advice and therefore seeking another persons view is always a positive thing to do.
